Congratulations to the winners of the year’s Art From the Attic raffle winners:
First Prize – Claudia Kuryk-Surray (#477) won an assortment of six bottles of wine plus a gift certificate in the amount equivalent to a three month subscription to the Cheese Mongers. If the winner chooses the subscription option, packages include three pieces of cheese, hand chosen by our mongers, along with an accompaniment selected specifically to highlight the characteristics of the cheese all delivered to you door on the third Tuesday of the month. Value of the gift certificate is $247.24. Also included was an electric wine bottle opener and chiller and wine glasses!
Second Prize – Peggy McPhee (#576) won a cozy quilt featuring wolves and polar bears made by Sue Hudson, suitable for a single bed or can be used as a lap quilt.
Third Prize – Alexandria Mathieson (#1962) won the beautiful matching bracelet and necklace made of Kazuri Beads that was made in Africa.
Thank you to the everyone who contributed prizes, promoted and sold tickets and most importantly, who BOUGHT tickets. The funds raised (almost $1,300) helped cover the administrative costs of putting on Art From the Attic and allows us to donate all the proceeds of the art sale to the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.
